Health Tassel Earrings

These drop-dangle green tassel earrings are handmade of glass beads by artisan women in Kenya.

Our tassel designs are handmade by Mwende and her artisan group. She is a single mother to seven teenage children. Her income goes to educate her children. Mwende and her group of mothers are from the Kamba tribe of eastern Kenya. Unlike the Maasai, the Kamba use beading string instead of beading wire. This creates flowing tassel designs that dance to motion.
