ABOUT SAWA SAWA
We are a black woman, sustainable, non-profit fashion brand. Co-founded by Anne and Catherine. Our mission is to empower artisan women in Kenya by harnessing their ancient skills in weaving, beading, art and more to provide a sustainable dignified income. We partner with the women to give them an income and a platform to share their creations.
We re-invest the revenue into various 501c3 non-profit empowerment programs. 10% revenue goes to menstrual kits. Girls miss a week of school every month. By providing reproductive health education and menstrual hygiene kits girls can stay in school, have a consistent education and dignity during their period.
Every sale empowers a woman and a girl in Kenya.
